This liquid won't evaporate underneath lights of florescent glare. Clock in and be nice. Options for the open minded, intelligent maniacs and rejects, they are quite limited. Inside of the mind is the place where rectangular empires divide and conquer a genie. He became a genie. Shapes the skates create inside of the brain can often be considered artistic and insane. The lever of perpetual youth has been pulled. Now explosions of dull color will penetrate the skull. Don't forget to smile.

A Map 02:53
This planet is not compatible with you. It's too small for you and the people that you always knew. Their ideas of success depends on how you dress. They hate all of the change and ideas of progress. But there's a place in my head. I see it when I'm lying on couches, floors and beds. There's a place to go. I see it when my eyes aren't always closed. A treehouse, surrounded with clouds, look around. We forgot our laptops but you don't see a frown. To the south, in the distance, you can make out the ground. Do you want to go back, just to visit, and take a look around? This planet is not compatible with you. It's too small for you and the things you really want to do, but there's a place in my head. I see it when I'm lying in my bed.

Jebbie is a genie for us, not for me, not for Jebbie When's he gonna die? When's he gonna die? When will he die? When will I die? I don't know either Don't do what I do Mixing up things, one or two Things we do are not for you. They're not for you When's he gonna die? When's he gonna die? I know that it's true. He's perpetual youth The perpetual youth The perpetual youth The perpetual youth
7.
You can be in the treehouses with me. We will see many things. Brown, Blue, and Green. It's in my brain for today. I hope it stays. This is the anthem for a shallow youth, and me and you. Aardvark detonations are everywhere we go. It's uplifting and it helps us float. Can you see through the trees to the buildings? It's bright and colorful. We can make it grow if we invest more in these telescopes. Can you see through the trees to the Blue sea? You can be in the treehouses with me. we will be anything. Orange, Yellow, Pinks. It's melting your brain every day. We hope you'll stay. This is the anthem for a shallow youth, and me and you.
8.
The things you write aren't always the things you really feel. The things I feel aren't always right. But the things that I feel are the only things that are real. When you're sad what do you think? When you're alone do you feel lonely? Do you speak unspeakable speaks? Do you dream unsleepable dreams? Infinite thinks, perpetual dreams. Do you hate not feeling love? Do you drink just because you can't get enough? When you wake up and wish you were still dreaming, do you see me?
9.
10.
I see you on a train track walking fast from your past. Pieces of wood for your steps give you success, but what's next? Who really cares who laughs and casts their stares on you? In these rectangles, I see dead people by our side. So alive. Lips point so wide. It waters my eyes. We won't see love as powerful as these rectangles show in our lives.

about

Jacksonville, Florida's multimedia colorful music and art project Mikey's Imaginary Friends is set to independently release its ninth album entitled Powerful Rectangles: Part One on July 3, 2013. The new experimental rock album is reminiscent of the nineties, with a minimal, melodic, post-grunge feel. It was recorded at Warehouse Studios in Jacksonville, whose claim to fame involves its late 1960s relationship with Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Powerful Rectangles: Part One features James McMurray on drums, Roger McCoy on harmonica and Jess Ulloa with backing vocals. Ryan Turk, who engineered the album, also contributes additional guitars, keys, and vocals. M.!.F plans to support the release of Powerful Rectangles: Part One with an art show and free party at Swagsonville in downtown Jacksonville for Art Walk on July 3, followed by a tour of the southeast, and the release of Powerful Rectangles: Part Two in late 2013.
